1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of https://waxmanlitigation.com (the “Site”), which is operated by Waxman Litigation (“Waxman Litigation,” “the Firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), 5425 Wisconsin Ave Ste 600, Chevy Chase, MD 20815. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Legal Disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. No Legal Advice

The Site is provided for general informational purposes only. Nothing on the Site, including articles, news, descriptions of practice areas, representative matters, and media appearances, is legal advice or a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney who knows the facts of your situation. Laws change, and every matter turns on its own facts. Do not act or refrain from acting based on Site content without first consulting a lawyer.

3. No Attorney–Client Relationship

Using the Site, sending an email, submitting the contact form, leaving a voicemail, or calling the Firm does not create an attorney–client relationship. An attorney–client relationship is formed only when the Firm and you both sign a written engagement agreement, and the Firm confirms in writing that it has completed its conflict check and agreed to represent you.

4. Do Not Send Confidential or Time-Sensitive Information

Until the Firm has agreed in writing to represent you, information you send may not be protected by attorney–client privilege or kept confidential, and the Firm may be free to represent another party in the same or a related matter. Please do not send privileged, confidential, or time-sensitive information through the Site. If you have an urgent deadline, such as a subpoena, a search warrant, or a court date, call the Firm at (301) 901-3109 and do not rely on the Site’s contact form.

By submitting information to the Firm, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this section.

5. Attorney Advertising; No Guarantee of Results

The Site may be considered attorney advertising under the rules of professional conduct in some jurisdictions. Descriptions of prior matters and results are provided for informational purposes. Past results do not guarantee or predict a similar outcome in any future matter. Every matter is different, and outcomes depend on the facts, the law, and many other factors.

6. Jurisdictions

The Firm is located in Chevy Chase, Maryland. The Firm does not provide legal services in any jurisdiction where its attorneys are not authorized to practice. Content on the Site is not directed at, and is not an offer to provide legal services to, anyone in a jurisdiction where doing so would be prohibited.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
  • submit false, misleading, or someone else’s information through the Site;
  • send unsolicited advertising, spam, or solicitations to the Firm through the Site;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or other users’ data;
  • introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code, or interfere with the Site’s operation;
  • use automated tools (such as bots, scrapers, or crawlers) to access or copy Site content, other than standard search engine indexing; or
  • copy, frame, or republish Site content in a way that suggests the Firm endorses you or your products or services.

8. Intellectual Property

The Site and its content, including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, page layouts, and the Waxman Litigation name, are owned by the Firm or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may view the Site and print or download portions for your own personal, non-commercial use, provided you keep all copyright and other notices intact. Any other use requires the Firm’s prior written permission.

Third-party names, logos, and marks (such as Best Lawyers, CNN, NPR, and FOX 5 DC) belong to their respective owners. Their appearance on the Site does not imply sponsorship of or endorsement by those organizations beyond the facts stated.

9. Third-Party Content and Links

The Site may link to or quote third-party websites, news coverage, court filings, and other sources. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, and a link is not an endorsement. We are not responsible for the accuracy of third-party materials.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WAXMAN LITIGATION AND ITS ATTORNEYS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SITE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THIS LIMITATION DOES NOT APPLY TO ANY LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, AND DOES NOT LIMIT THE FIRM’S PROFESSIONAL OBLIGATIONS TO ITS CLIENTS UNDER A SIGNED ENGAGEMENT AGREEMENT.

We may change the Site or these Terms at any time. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest revision. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.

17. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
